New Communities

Kenosia Construction, through is sister companies, regularly acquires parcels of land for development into new picturesque communities, residential condominiums and active adult communities throughout Connecticut and New York.. We bring these parcels through city planning with a careful eye towards integrating the development into the existing infrastructure and setting of the current area. It is our goal to add to the feeling and scenery of the surrounding neighborhood.

Kenosia Construction then builds these projects according to the exacting standards of the local and state building codes and our own high standards of construction. Kenosia Construction has built over 1,200 of these residential housing units, more than 350 of which has been single family homes built in the last twenty years.

In 2006, our development group acquired 46 acres of land and worked with the City of Meriden to deliver the first active adult community in the city. The 25 homes available in Phase I of the project have been completed and sold, and all of the corresponding site infrastructure work has been finished. Phase II of this $12 Million project is scheduled to begin after the appropriate permits are obtained from the City of Meriden and the Army Corps of Engineers.

Also in the 2006 time frame, our development group completed RiverWoods of Danbury, a 37 unit ($10 Million) residential condominium project on the west side of Danbury. Kenosia Construction completed the site infrastructure work, which included the installation of an Army Corps engineered bridge, built three large condominium buildings and delivered the entire project within two years.

In 2008, our development group acquired, designed and entitled a 10 lot subdivision in the town of Bethel, CT. Kenosia has completed all of the site infrastructure work and is in the process of selling the remaining homes. This $6.0 Million dollar project is scheduled to be complete within the next twelve months.

In 2009, Kenosia acquired approximately 14 acres of land near downtown Bethel, CT. Kenosia is currently working with the Town of Bethel on the approvals of a 34 home subdivision. The amenities of this subdivision will include easy access to downtown and scenic views. Site work and construction for this $12 Million project is expected to begin sometime in 2012.
